The bulk of the dozen tracks were recorded in Kingston at that earliest date, back when the jamaican capital was at its hottest, and Manu and crew unite with the likes of Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare to create some sublime, fiery Afro-funk, sometimes with a Stax-like groove or a overlooked them recently do so to their own loss.
