Deuxième album du groupe Gadjo Combo, « À brûle pourpoint » continue d’explorer la formule qui avait fait le succès de « Modern’Swing » (LLL322) paru en 2007. Faisant fi des codes liés au genre et des sempiternels « standards » joués et rejoués, inclassable, voire insaisissable, la formule du quatuor emmène le swing sur d’autres rivages. The second album by the group Gadjo Combo, “À brûle pourpoint”, is a further exploration of the formula which made their 2007 recording “Modern Swing” (LLL322) such a hit. With little regard for the codes of the genre and its well-worn “standards” that are played and played again, the Gadjo Combo quartet has a formula that would be impossible to categorize even if you had a hold on it; the group takes Swing to distant shores in the culture of freedom, nursing a free spirit and the desire to see new things by opening wide their repertoire.
